Could someone please supply me with contact details for an AP in the Cape Town area, with whom I can discuss plans, mods and the build project in general, for a rag 'n dope A/C? I am particularly looking to interact with someone who GENUINELY knows the facts and knows what he is talking about. It would be great if such a person could also advise me on dealing correctly and effectively with potentially sticky CAA issues. Thanks!

Thanks Morph! I will do so this evening. I thought of phoning you, but realise that your mind is probably somewhat pre-occupied with getting airborne. Good on you for sorting out the BOSBEFOKKER's prop issues. I am holding thumbs that all goes well from here on. You are an admirably patient person. I would have lost it long ago.

Hi Wingless Nut,

Have you found a project ?

Let us know how it goes.

Kind regards,

Yip Gunter. I have a choice of two, of which one is the Double Eagle (first of type) and the other is a Pietenpol GN1. Not ideal, as I would have preferred plans for a 2-seater wooden fuselage that is not a first of type and can be flown on a MPL. Unfortunately the VP2 is not a real two-seater and like the Piet can only be flown on a PPL.
