Hi everyone,
I'm wanting to purchase one of those small thingies that you attach to the bottom of your fuel filling hose - you only shake it a few times to get the fuel to flow into your tank.
Who sells them please?
Regards,
Hennie

Hi Nicow,
Thank you - cannot for the life of me remember seeing something like this at Game - will hunt for one this afternoon. I'm tired of a mouth full of fuel everytime I fly.

I got one at Midas, cost about 50 bucks.... didnt work well for me though.... I prefer the little plastic one that costs about twenty bucks also from midas... has a little red plastic resevoir at the top that creates a vacuum...when you pump it it starts the siphoning... slow but works well....

Hi Dish & Massimo,
Thank you for the warning - cheap = better! I'll buy similar later today.
How's the flying coming along - I'll get out to Rhino (pity about the fire!) early this weekend so I can meet you and hopefully also our Agent. I did not fly this weekend (moving house) but saw the wind howling on Sunday - this is now the third windy Sunday in a row. I think I should rather fly on Saturdays in future!

One of the pilots here in Potties once took a sip of petrol and had to get medical help.We now use the pipes with the plastick "sipper".

Hi Nicow,
I've not yet been hospitalized, but I've had my mouth, throat, jacket, glasses & seat so splashed with fuel that I had second thoughts of driving straight to work after flying because I was smelling like a fuel depo!!!
Thanks for the advice.

Hi KFA,
Thanks for the pics - makes it a lot easier for me. This weekend, I'll siphon in style.
Whilst we're on ideas, what air pump would you guys suggest for inflating the wheels? Something small that I can maybe leave in the aerie for emergency purposes.
