I am facing the same dilemma, my T-Pod on my Aerotrike Safari is a bit haggard and I am also thinking of replacing it.

Buzzcom is working on a composite banana pod as far I can understand and they should be available anytime now, I was quoted R850 excl VAT for the pod. Also looking at putting a Sylva 70 Compass on and need to find a new comm system.

I've replaced my old pod with a new T-Pod. Must say it works well for me and not that expensive!

Phone Barry or Nick for a quote

They also fit spats with all brackets and nose cones at a very reasonable price :D

Is a banana not better space wise with all the stuff we need to cram onto it these days? Radio, GPS etc?

Banana pod is the best if your looking for serious space.
