Yes cruising in a trike is amazing but when you eventually want to get somwhere it can take a while, sooo i want to make my trike cruise a little faster, so what are the options. And no im not buying a GT450 or any other plane. Im thinking along the lines of electric trim, front pod, what else, and no new motor either? please suggest along with price and what speed it should add.
I hear many tirkes are cruisinbg at 70 miles, how do you do it. The only way i get that right is by removing the nose cone and pulling serious bar!
Currently have aquilla with 582 motor.

Hmm, my manual has in BIG BOLD LETTERS DO NOT REMOVE THE NOSE CONE but then again that affects the internal pressure and my wing is slightly different, it's got wierd pieces of material inside. My trim system doesn't speed up it merely slows it down about 5-8mph
Pod makes about 3-5mph dif, but around 2-3l on fuel...
Hang point about 3mph per point.
Give Jenya a chat he has sped up many wings.

What you need is R300 000.00, if that doesn't fix it get used to going slowly

Instead of buying a new trike you could always just change the wing, Jenya has loads of experience doing this.
Some wings to look at if you want faster than Aquilla
Italian Hazzard 12m2 - for serious speed
Air Creation XP wings 12m2 or even Ixess 15m2, mine is a XP15 and cruises around 60 bar in full 2 up will see 90 - stall at 40.
Aeros Profi 14.5m2
NEW Spirit 15
I know of Aquillas around the world flying with these wings. They cost from 45k to 80k. Most around the 50 mark.
