Electric Trim
Thanks Bid-D,
The pic below is the one from Cape Town (pic from Junkies Ac) do you perhaps have a pic of the one sold by Jenya. I have spoken to him but his is R2000.00 more, a huge price difference. I would like to compare the products may it be only be visually.
Thanks, Sias

I don't have a pic unfortunately.
When it comes to wings Jenya is my man, and the little bit more in price is probably well justified.
Mike Blythe has one of Jenya's electric hangpoint's on his Cobra and apparantly he is very pleased.
But R2k is R2k hey... I will still rather go with Jenya, but that is me

You go with the guys you trust. Personally Clive and Ivan Laubscher have a very good name here in CT, they are better priced than most.
They do a lot of the wing airframe and wing repair on trikes. Ranger just had his wing repaired by them after rolling over at Oudtshoorn. They replaced the keeltube, repaired the fabric, replaced battens etc for R5k, cheaper than just the spares from JHB

Apologies to Clive and Ivan if I made their product or service sound inferior - Was not my intent - Sias and I have been sending each other lots of Pm's today and I kinda lost track of what was PM and what was forum
.
The more specialist's we have the better for everyone and I am glad the guys in Cpt have specialist's locally to sort out their wing problems.

No offense taken, I also said that it is important for you to go with the guys you trust. If you trust Jenja then go with his product. The last thing you need is uncertainty, especially on a structural component such as the hang pointBig D wrote: Apologies to Clive and Ivan if I made their product or service sound inferior

I had a look at a pic of the product on Mike's trike. And yes from what I can gather they are very different in design and therefor the price difference. Quality and reliabilty wise I believe that both are quality products.
Bid D and Morph, I appreciate both your comments, spoke to Ivan and Jenja today and both gave me good advise and obviously marketing their products with equal enthusiasm.

One thing to take note of is that there probably would be more wear on the hangblock and this should be inspected more often when using a electric hangblock mover.
For me it is ideal in that I will be able to get going like a boeing when flying alone, but can also fly slower when Darkhelmet is flying with me without him having to pull the bar in and develop arms like Rambo to keep up :D

Below the pics of Mike's "mover" (Bid D is that what you call it) the quality not good but the extra R2K is clearly visible - from the Microflight Africa mag.
The hangpoint of the Cobra is quite bulky and will probably need some muscle.
I hope that both products had fair publicity.

Aerotrike Cobra
The product from Jenya, light weight with worm action adjustment. The motor is concealed in the aluminium tube.
Comments would be appreciated if these products will be money well spend
- sure depending on the price
