Air Magic microphone question

Postby kloot piloot » Wed Jun 21, 2017 12:57 pm

Alpha / Tailspin

Fellow pilots complain that they hear me, but very softly.
Is their a way of increasing the boom microphone volume?

Thanks,
Roel

Roel, what radio do you use? I know on the ICOM A5 you can increase the amplification of the mic on the radio.

AFAIK, you hold the PTT and press the UP ARROW or DOWN ARROW. under normal operation the UP/DOWN ARROW is for volume setting to headsets

Thanks KK, I did not know about such function.

I've got the A22 and will check this weekend if it has this function. (^^)
