Postby Tjoek » Sat Apr 01, 2017 12:45 pm

Does any one know if Castrol Super Chainsaw has been discontinued? I can't get from the Midas that always had stock, and they say they not getting any? I tried few shops in Centurion and no luck

Phone Castrol in Boksburg. I use Castrol 2T. It is the one recommended by the OEM, Rotax. It costs 51 Rand / litre at Midas and is readily available.

Chainsaw lube does not cover the required specifications from Rotax.

If you want to go affordable rather use the Fuchs Super 2 stroke. It has all the specifications Rotax requires.

I know oil is always a huge debate, but at least cover minimum prescribed manufacturer recommendations.
