Washed the air filters last week and the only oil I could find was Castrol Foam Air Cleaner Oil. Well the only part that seem correct is the fact that it is red
Couldn't get full revs on the engine after I applied the oil

another tell tale sign is the fact that oil (2-stroke) dripped out of the air cleaner indicating a blocked filter
Any advise please

I wash my filters in warm water with a bit of sunlight liquid diswasher.
When done I dry em with a airhose , low pressure and if you want use the proper K&N filter oil , I put mine on dry and have never had a days problem , Hope it works for you , I think The foam is to dense for the paper filters .

You can get K&N filter oil from Full Throttle, a bike shop in Edenvale. About R60 to R80 per bottle. A bottle will last you a long long time as you use very little at a time

I have used the Kingdragon filter oil from Jamex for several years, they supply the fast and furious brigade, its yellow and works wonderfully. Freely available in any of the speed shops about R50 a can.
Made in Italy. "Special formula for washable air filters". I also wash them out wiith washing out liquid and leave to dry in the sun.
