Postby jacquesvancoller » Sun Feb 07, 2016 5:08 pm

Afternoon Everyone,

Can someone please help me.
I have the Chatterbox mikro Intercom, and headsets.
Is it true that the intercom get its power from the batteries in the headsets?and what will the result be if the batteries in the headers is not fully charged or flat?

Plzzzzzzzz help.

Daar is 4 AA batterye in die "earcup". Wriggle the black cup carefully out, remove the muffler cloth, and you will discover the batteries.

Remember to unplug your headset after flight, otherwise it will drain the batteries.

Hi Jacques

You will have no radio comms if they are flat.

These headsets/intercoms are a pain in the butt!!!! I have to remove a battery from the headset after every use otherwise next time I want to use them they are flat!! (**) (**) (**)
I have a spare set that I keep fully charged in case of such surprises

Morning Jacques. Get yourself a plug made (or make it yourself) like this. Just bridge the two outer points and plug it in the chatterbox instead of the pax headset.

Sad-Ham, I installed a micro switch on the side of the headset that you just switch off every time to save the batteries. vhpy
