Microlighters

Being a beancouter with a June year end I have been working 16 hours a day 7 days a week for about a month. Thus, I also haven't flown my airy for more than a month which is the longest ever Hope to fly long and hard this coming Saturday :D :D

Does anyone have any thoughts on old fuel - Other than checking for water is there anything else I should be aware of??

The octane level decreases with time especially if it is premixed. The fuel can be used with a lower performance. Alternatively use it in your car and put fresh fuel in. No harm either way

Check your float bowls. I found if the plane stands for a long time a white residue develops in the float bowl, especially where the float rests against the bottom of the bowl.

Any thoughts or experience with filtering fuel using the large disposable oil paper filters used in the food trade?

Refinery to (clean?) tanker, to garage (who knows the condition of those tanks), 20lt drum (I rinse them out at the pumps to everone's disgust) wiped off hose?

what would be simpler, more efficient?
