advice on 618 engine

Postby Jon Hewitt » Tue May 13, 2014 11:35 am

Hi
i am in the process of buying a T bird with the 618 motor ,ll looks ok at a reasonable price, current engine hours 470
the question is

when is the next engine inspection , is it at 600
do you have to overhaul at 600 ,or if in spec can it continue to fly , if it passes the 600 hour inspection how many hours to its next inspection
If at 600 it has to be overhauled ,what cost am i looking at .

The price is good but am concered that it might cost me after 130 hours .

your help will be much appreciated
Jon
