I need some advice as to what would the perfect prop to fit to a Safari with a rotax 912 ULS?
Should I go VP? Ground adjustable? I would prefer a 3 blade.
IVO VP or Warp drive ground adjustable or any suggestions?

Hi Mozfly

I have a ivo on my kitfox and wont go that root again
I want to fit a Airmaster VP prop but at +/-R70 000 and 12kg I dont think so
I think the Warp drive or a P-Prop is the way to go.

Oom Boet what do you think :?:

Keep it simple and keep it light, The most expensive or the most "larney" looking is not always the best. Phone Oom Pieter de Necker on 27 11 7935235, and order yourself a 72" X 50" P-Prop, or, if you want to fly a little faster, go for the 72" X 52" cruise prop. You will never buy another prop!! Weight is the enemy of performance, and complexity is the enemy of reliability!! As the chances for survival is proportional to the angle of arrival! vhpy

Thanks Oom Boet. Some true words.

Does De Necker have a 3 blade or is it the 2 blade you referring to?

What's your opinion on the 3 blade 72" warp drive ?

If I had to choose, I would go for the 2 blade any day. Oom Piet`s props are just as smooth as the 3 blader, just a lot more effective, and then you can always trust a tree! vhpy

Hi

912ULS on a trike.

Warp 72" - smooth with a good power curve.

Cheers

Thanks for the advise Gents, really keen on the de Necker, just want to run it by with Stephan (KFA).

Being based at the coast and wanting to use the Safari for medium distance cross countries, what would you fit? 72 x 50 or 72 x 52?

Thanks

Verify with Oom Piet, but I would say the 72 X 52. The 912S is more than strong enough anyway........ vhpy

Value for money and effectiveness and moer of a strong and reliable, local expertise and great service - P-PROP

If you want to be different, pay much much more, have a composite, 3 blade etc.... http://www.whirlwindpropellers.com/ga/p ... otax3.html
I would go for this anytime before a Warp!
