Moving to Petit

Postby KFA » Mon Feb 04, 2013 10:28 pm

So the time has come to leave my beloved Lowveld behind and move to the big smoke. We have outgrown our facilities at Komatipoort and because of the uncertainty of the airfield future I decided not to invest further in the current infrastructure. The move is costly and it would not cost much more to move to a more central location than it would have cost to move to a private airfield in the area so I decided to move the factory back to Gauteng.cThe move will be completed by the end of March. There will be very little disruption in production as we planned ahead and build up stock levels. The weld shop will be the last to move and the first to be operational again. We estimate a maximum down time in production fo approximately 2 weeks. We are very excited about this move as I strongly believe it is a move in the right direction. We look forward to be assistance in the very near future. I will post the new tel numbers as soon as I have them. In the mean time customers can still e-mail @info@saplanes.co.za or call me on my cell 082 601 8970

Thanks, Yes I am moving my complete operation. Factory and flight school. The school will still only be concentrating on tailwheel training and I will do License renewals on Trikes and other LSA but I do not think I will be doing training on other aircraft, unless it has a tailwheel attached to it... puff. Time will tell. My vurk is al bietjie vol gepak met die hooi. (**)

Damn, can't find a decent place to stay close to Petit. Anybody know of a plot or house to rent for a reasonable price in the area? Was looking for a place in Rynfield, Petit, Benoni AH, Bredell AH or Marister. Even Bapsfontein will do....

Getting a reasonable place to live in proved to be a challenge. Still looking Blue Max.........

Factory now at Petit. The weldshop will be operational by next week and we will be open for maintenance from the week after. Busy building a new spaybooth which should be operational in about 2 weeks
