Cri-Cri

Does anybody know of a past/current/future attempt (successful or not) to build a Cri-Cri aircraft anywhere in SA? I am considering embarking on such a project and I would appreciate any ideas/information/advice from anyone who has been involved in such a project. I have two main concerns: 1) Materials availlability localy, and 2) Level of expertise required.
