Postby kenfox » Sun Jan 20, 2013 8:28 am

Is there anyone out there using a Hirth 85hp motor? ive bought one and while waiting for it to arrive have read some scary stories on the net. Anyone with personal experience on this motor?

I dont know much about them...A guy I use to correspond with swore by them...say it was long lived unit with its Nikasil cylinders,

Have a look at this video....its an Avid Flyer fitted with as far as I know an 85hp Hurth...sounds nice.
