I bought a second hand Lightspeed Zulu 2 headset from Glenn Dean
I have a problem: my headset work perfectly for 14 hours..........Know, when I put it on, the green light flickers for 5 - 10 times and then switches off.
Brand new batteries!!!
When it cuts off: i can hear incoming transmition, but can not transpond. Does it work that way?
What must I do?
Who can have a look at it?
Where do I send it to?

I am not an expert, having had mine a few months. When you switch the ANR on the light should flicker a few times then stay ON. When the set loses power from the jacks, the light will flicker and eventually go off, or you can press the switch until the light flickers and goes off. The ANR activates automatically once plugged in with radio on, maybe you are switching the ANR off instead of on. Hope this helps?

Contact Lightspeed in the USA and ask their advise before you send it to anybody locally
had the same problem as you describe, my headsets were still new and under guarantee when this happened
No problem I thought, so sent them back to the avionics supplier at Lanseria who sold them to me which was mistake no. 1
they were not the official SA agent as I was lead to believe

Is there actually an appointed agent in this country??
it took nearly 4 months of emails, phonecalls, eventually got them back with a huge bill for courier charges to the US and back which I did not expect as I bought them locally
After this shameful exersize I found out that Lightspeed have an excellent warrantee policy with a very quick turn around and they will cover some of the courier costs, but contact them first!
