Cleaning a Rotax 912

Dear Forumites

I would like to clean my 912, without dismantling it, to hide the fact that I'm too poor to afford a new one. Er, coming to think of it, I'd be unable to afford a new one even if I were rich! Is there a chemical that would do this? Trying to reach all the nooks and crannies mechanically just seems like a waste of time.

If you own a 912, consider yourself rich

If cleaning it mechanically is a waste of time, then you just not lus, boet.
But to answer your question, a bottle or two of Prepsol and a hose with decent pressure will get it looking like new.
Prepsol = Any auto spares shop.
Cover the electric connectors and such first and don't spray directly on to them.

Give it a good, long ground run afterwards to dry it out and insure no mis-firing.
