I thought I would share with you a lightweight tyre pump (Mountain Pipe) which I recently bought from Sportsman's Warehouse!
The nice thing about it is that the pump handle is in fact a gas cylinder which can inflate a mountain bike tyre, so my guess (I will still try this out!

) is that it should easily inflate a trike tyre to 0.8 bar!! The gas cylinder is the normal one you buy at the cycle shops - the one seen here is covered by a rubber sleeve to get extra grip when using the pump manually.
I had to buy the extender piece separately (R20), which is needed to operate the pump using the gas cylinder which attaches at the "head" of the pump, so makes normal use (without the extension piece) not possible on a trike tyre.
Because it operates as a normal pump, if you had to run out of gas you can still use good old-fashioned elbow grease to get the pressure to where it should be!
Any comments from pilots who have done the deed of fixing a flatty on an out-flight? Do you see this pump working??
Safe Skies!

- The pump "off the shelf" - the handle has a hidden compartment with a small attachement for motor vehicle (trike) tyre valves

- The same pump, now with the gas cylinder (handle) unscrewed and inserted at the head of the pump, and the extender piece now attached.
