Can anyone advise on suppliers of trike helmets (with visors) in South Africa?

I am aware of Buzzcom but wanted to review other options before making a decision.

I have the "Air Magic" helmets with tinted visors and find them to be fantastic helmets.
The tint is great when flying into the sun, and doesn't hamper visablility at all.

Ant, you may want to hold off on your purchase until you are ready to buy your trike.
Compatabiliy issues may arise if you get air magic helmets with built in head sets. These are not compatible with the buzzcom system which may or may not be installed in the aircraft you buy.
For now, a flight suit, gloves, and maybe a neck warmer may be a better purchase. Winter is also on the way.

I would advise the Condor helmet, these have a webbing spider inside and are designed as a "one size fits all" & also one helmet fits all headsets. David Clarkes, Sennheisers,any Busscom and the Air Magic may be bolted direct to the shell. They are also a considerably lower footprint more compact and a lighter fit than our other range. We also make a "chill cheater" that is based on a flak gunners smock and fits inside a suit made of fleece designed for these helmets.

Thanks but I'm getting a GoPro cam which I need to mount so I'll need to do that on my own gear as you have to stick it with adhesive

air magic "CONDOR " HELMET is the one!!! excerlent comfort, the visor flips and is tinted on the top so the sun doesnt bother you at all, the comms is excerlent as no interferance with external air leakages!! just a quality product for a very good price, you wont go wrong!!!!

Air Magic is the way to go. If your aerie has Buzzcom fitted Paul will give you a small credit on it and supply you with Air Magic intercom/helmets plus cables with connections for the radio, just tell Paul what radio you using so he knows the connector type. If its Vertex send him the cable you got with the radio.

many thanks for the advice guys! yesterday i got myself a FERRARI RED airmagic helmet from uncle Alex, the one with the tinted top, cannot wait to go try it out this weekend!!!

Thanks everyone! I went with the Condor helmet from Air Magic! The one-size-fits-all was a big swinger! I ordered two, with both visor options (tinted and plain), so really looking forward to my parcel from KZN!!! Thanks Paul (Zulu1) for the great service.
