Just spent the day with Witwillem , he is busy with His "blue block red top 503" that kicks ass with a 582 , interresting combination.
The original 503 is used with Mazda 323 pistons , Electronic ignition , nice porting and a solid machined Testarossa steel cylinder head which is watercooled ,battles to start , but whenit eventually fired up due to a faulty fuelpump all hell breaks .he has an belt driven "Cam"which acts as a waterpump and variable porting as a 70 Hp Rotax .
I just have me doubts if the crank and pistons will take the strain - even fitted with water/ steam injection.
Needs some cosmetic paint work and within two weeks if it does not self destruct the will test fly it at Rust der Winter dam on a flat bottem swamp boat fitted with a rotax cBox and a 72inch 582 prop - 3: 1 ratio - presently trying to super tune the megaphone exhaust - Sliced the Rotax zoom tube to bits - interresting project - wandered why they were quiet for some time Leprachaun

Plenty a time this is the building blocks for something better. This is the way technology finds it's way into the open to Experimant is Dangerous at times but it is very rewarding when it all works.

I say go for it guys

Yes that is a definate but it is still interesting to watch the Development.

Similar to the Guys using the Yaris (Spelling Sucks i know) Motor for their trike.
