Poisk Trikes
Poisk Trikes
I read in the WCMC news letter that a talk on Poisk Trikes was given by a Dr. Nikitin and that these trikes are "gaining popularity with members in the Saldanha area". Does any one know anything about these trikes??
The main advocator for Poisk is Jaco Schols who is based at Wintervogel. He has been flying one of them for a while now. There is also a 3-seat version at Saldanha, but I'm not sure f it is flying.
The agent, a russian guy whose name currently excapes me, is the local agent and he has one of their latest versions on demo in Cape Town. It is a robust looking trike, using the new Hirth 80 hp 2 cyl fuel injected motor. Poisk have been building planes since the early 80's mainly for military use so you can expect a tough machine.
You can call Jaco on 083 326 3972 if you are interested and maybe he can get you the manufacturers name, but be aware, he is Russian and not easy to understand, accent wise that is.

Hi!DieselFan wrote:This trike climbs faster than I dive!! What sort of fuel consumption do you get on the HIRTH and how does it compare to the 912?
The Hirth-3701ES- is very new model.Only two in South Africa. One doing aerobatics very succesfully 70 hours already. And my one- 20 hours +/-.Also without any serios problem.
Feeling is very much the same as 912,but Hirth is 25 kil.lighter!!!!Thats very important not only for balancing and safety..... :D Consumptions is around 14litres/h.
Trike feels like U have 582 behind, but when U just press the throttle.....WOW!
In Russia 3701- ES was at the flight test for 2 years, and we think that this baby is the best Hirth motor.....at last!!!!
And also think about price!!!! That's 1,5 times chipper than 912.Very important point for....poooore trike-flyers.
Thanks.

Depends of comlectation.Bennie Vorster wrote:Hi VIOLAVIA
What prices are we looking at
Chipest - 503 (Hirth-3102)-without fairing and inforced pilons- roughly 100kilorand
Most expensive- 912 or Hirth -3701- with ...everything- 180-220(912) kilorand .
I know that is chip, but I was instructed not to rise the prices for at list first 10 aircrafts. And U can order any motor from our list:
Rotax- 503,582,912,914- all modif.
Wings:Nebo- 14,17,18
Aeros- any
Spirit-15----(South African best!!!!)
Also we have lots of extras.Ballist chuts, trimmers, pneumatical shocks,3,4,5,6 blades props, etc.
So depends of Ur choice we will talk about price.Good thing- Poisk not going to be more expensive than SA trikes .

Yes! Thats right!
Also you can ask any separate part.
For example you order ONLY the airframe without motor because whatever reason...Eiser you have already or didn't decide yet.At this case U just have to tell us the type engine and we'll fix correct motorframe.
Any bolts also u can order separately.
