Hi Bundy

Actually I just checked it this weekend. All the rims for the 503 Windlass and 582 Aquilla are 8 inch. You have a choice of two sizes. Either 16 x 6.5 x 8 ( Windlass And it seems older Aquillas.) or 18 x 6 x 8 . The 18 or 16 is the hight of the tyre from ground to top . The middle 6.5 or 6 is the width and the 8 the rimsize
I have attached a photo of mine with the 18 inch tyres. They are bigger and I found them to be better when landing in rough spots. It has a 2 inch higher wall that also act as shock absorber in rough terrain I actually replacing mine now with knobbly tyres as I mainly land on grass and dirt runways and mostly short ones as well. The knobblys just give that mush better grip , especially in the mornings when the grass is still wet. (And it just makes the trike looks that much better and aggresive!)

If you do put on the 18 inch you may have to ajust your wheel spat a bit as it may touch, but it is nothing major. I just took a vicegrip and bent the attaching struts till the wheel rolls freely, but it may not even be neccessary.

Hope this helps

Regards
Cor

Duck , I know regulations require that I use a shifting spanner, but we all bend the rules now and again!
