Hi, has anyone got some advice on a fuel flow meter. Running a 503.
I would like to install one, but I don't know what is the best option for this and what will be a good accurate unit.
Advice please?

Re: Fuel Flow Meter
Hi There,
I recently bought a OptiFuel with the new flow sensor from Stephane at Optifuel and it works great. It is very accurate and easy to install.
I am using it on my Safari with a Rotax 503.
Regards
Martin

Re: Fuel Flow Meter
I installed an MGL Infinity fuel flow meter on my trike with 503. Easy as a pie. A tad more expensive than the Optifuel, but I had MGL instruments already and the MGL fuel flow meter takes airspeed information from the MGL ASI to calculate (air) distance to go. It accepts GPS input the same way as Optifuel, but I had no suitable GPS at the time ...
I think, both devices work great, they are wonderfully configurable and easy to calibrate.
Cheers,
V.

Re: Fuel Flow Meter
I have MGL and appart from the fuel flow... the incorperated programable fuel level sender is a god send. especially on our wonky shaped tanks. Once calibrated the fuel shown is what is in the tank.
