Hi Rudi you can contact me, Jean Crous on 072 6716 240. I have rather sound knowledge of VW engines in aeroplanes.By the way the whole Cubby factory is with me , in my premises in Barrydale Western Cape. I have a direct drive Revmaster 2332 in my Bushbaby and have just ordered another unit for a 2nd Bushbaby.
Cheers
Jean

Do you have a runway there? Be nice to pop in and come have a look

Hi Morph, yes we have a runway, east-west (09--27), it is 320 meters long with a nice flat approach from both sides. A low pass or three will help before landing as some folks think it is short and nasty! Phil Bristow knows my strip quite well , ask him it isnt THAT nasty. The surface is good. 1200ft ASL mornings before 11am are best, no or little wind.
Call me on 072 6716 240.
Cheers
Jean Crous.
