Garmin 296 Freezing.

Postby Splinter » Thu Sep 09, 2010 11:12 am

Hi gentlemen

We have a little problem. The Garmin 296 fitted to one of the Manne`s trike keeps freezing... no its not because we were flying to high :) All the maps freeze but the "intruments" seem to be working at times. The gps is not fitted with the optional memory stick... Could this be the problem and if so where can we find the memory stick? No stock at Century Aviation. Any suggestions?

Thanx

Hi Splinter,

Try call this mate of mine, Gavin Jones on 0823282231. He works for a company that distrubutes Garmin and I'm sure he will be able to direct you to your closest stockist.

Hope you come right. vhpy
