PROPELLOR ADVICE PLEASE

During a pre-flight inspection I noticed a hairline crack near the base of one of the three blades of my warp drive. I need to make a decision on replacing or possibly repairing the blade. Any advice on the following please:

1. Can the blade be repaired? i.e a crack cut out and welded up again. The crack is in the aluminium part where the blade meets the hub. If so, does anyone have any contact numbers?
2. I see on the Comet Aviation website that the blades can be bought seperately. The current warp drive has 42 hours on it. Can one now fit a new blade and what about the difference in hours.
3. As the blade is virtually brand new without even a nick on it, the crack is clearly a factory fault, what recourse do I have to claim it from the manufacturer?
4. What wooden prop would be advisable for an Aquilla with a 582 and a 3,47 E-box should I choose to go that route?

Any help and advice would be appreciated

P-prop would be a RIGHT HAND TRACTOR 72" x 52" . I hope you are not FLYING with that WD. When it cracs there, use it for a beach cricket bat. It is NOT repairable.

The recent topic above covered something similar.

I do not see why the supplier / manufacturer will not be able to investigate and replace. At least not with only 42 hours and if installed according to manufacturers' specs.

Keep us posted. vhpy
