I can get 2 Sennheiser HME 100 's for a good price.
Question ? Can they be used on a trike, or are they designed to work inside a cockpit only ?
Your advice appreciated

PS
They are double plug, and not like my existing single plug config.

Plugs can be converted. However, I have tried headsets that are normally meant for the traditional tin (Telex Echelon) and they didn't work too well. There is no compensation for the wind etc.

I have used general aviation headsets in open cockpit, but they need a cover over the mic muff

to stop the wind noise...

Thanks Skybound and George,
Guess I will have to take them for a ride first before I buy.
