I have been quoted >R140 for a new cap for the 2stroke oil tank on my 582. Any alternatives?

I replaced twice. It's punishment for overzealous pre-flight checks and gorilla tightening.

Price sounds reg.I had to buy 3 In the last 2 yrs ,our one partner is a chemist ,thinks he is tightening the medicine bottles,

cut a spacer out of thin rubber/conveyor belt and place it at the base of the filler hole..... helps prevent over tightening
