Over the weekend I experience something that worries me.
I started the engine (582 Rotex) using the choke. After it started I pushed the choke down back to normal and applying a lyttle bit of throttle and then the engine 'smoor dood' ( it dies..)After a while it started and is then OK
It happened twice the weekend on different occasions..
I did not get the idea that the engine was flooded as it did not start when I put my foot on the throttle flat with choke back to normal.
Did I perhaps push the choke back to soon or Is it perhaps time to clean and replace plugs and airfilters.?? an ATF was done 25 hrs ago by an AP.
Glad to say it did not happen while flying afterwards.!!!
