Which Prop for my 503?

Postby gertcoetzee » Mon Jan 04, 2010 4:29 pm

In WUO, the trike I fly (and bundubash) with near Aurora I have a NC Prop, which I have mended with Tippex and the like whenever the craters got too big. After this morning's flip, I discovered that the trailing edge has split open, and if I squeeze the prop it gives a nice crepitus (you will need to look this up).

So the short and the long if it is I want a new prop, for my upside down 503 - which prop?

The NC seems to brittle for the Sandveld's klippies.
I have a Warp on my other trike, also takes some hammering.
A De Necker Prop? Had one of those on my other trike but it got uhm damaged. Liked it.
Can a Warp be fitted with those metal strips?

Please help.

I flew and saw the halo around my shadow on the cotton clouds, and I knew that this must be heaven.

Gert,

My Warp has steel leading edges. Look at their website and they show them as an option. I know Peter De Necker also adds them as an after market extra to the warp blades.

I like Warp, they are very resilient

Kwaliteit is wereld klas of beter. P-Props rock!!!! To top it all: You can always trust a tree!!!! (^^)
