HELP NEEDED
When shutting Rotax 582 down with Mag1and Mag2 The motor keeps running,have to shut down with choke,will check earth connection.what other advise can you guys help me look out for?

Have just had the same problem and found that the wire had broken where it was crimped on the push on terminal which connects onto the mag switch.What had happened was the wire was broken but the insulation remained connected to the crimped section on the terminal.Check wires at back of switchs by giving them a pull and if broken the insulation will stretch.

will pull the switches out and chek.Pod is a son o a bitch to work on...have to come in underneath.pod top not removeable.need child size hands to get in.will battle through it and remove the switches to check.

Check it's not your starter running. Sticky switch

Problem was in the switches...........thanks Guys...allways good to get another opinion.
All sorted now.running like it should.mag drop like the book.
