Working with Wood

I stripped the skin of WRH to re-cover.

Some of the wood strips are covered in what seems to be oil. Some are loose.

Some questions for the wood experts:

1) Do I need to replace the strips covered in oil?
2) How do I "glue" the other strips back. I suppose you can not use ordinary glue.

Epidermix 372

comes in a tiny set, something like 50ml or a big set about 1liter

It's a 2 part 2:1 mix set.
