If an engine has been involved in an accident and you do not PERSONALLY
know that the prop never struck anything, then you need to get a crank and
prop shaft runout test. Quite simple but if you aren't going to do this
yourself - any Rotax mechanic can do it for you. This simply checks
the runout of both the prop shaft and crankshaft (must remove gearbox) to
see if they were bent (using a typical runout dial indicator). The specs
are published in the Rotax manual. See if the seller will let you have this
done before purchase.

In theory - if the prop drive flange is running straight then you shouldn't have a problem either way.
