Kiwilad,
Apologies if it seems like a thread highjack, but I am also after some Prop info and it looks as if the people who knows enough is currently involved here.
What size and pitch prop will suit a Pietenpol Aircamper with a Corvair 100HP motor fitted, or do I need to supply more info before a final decision can be made?

I would presume only a beautiful wooden two blade would do
I suggest you call Pieter De Necker at P Prop 011 793 5235
Looks like 68" left handed, direct drive, cruise at 3000rpm(90HP) , max 3150rpm (100hp)

Morph,
You speak the right language and have the right idea.
It will defenitely be a wooden prop, cannot have the old lady sitting with anything else on her bussiness end.
I will contact Pieter, although I would have liked to see if any of the props being advertised on this site and Avcom might fit the bill.
I have a McCauley 69" constant speed two blade prop that I would like to send for checking to see if it is still servicable, certainly looks servicable to me, and if it is, to try and swop it for a suitable wood prop. Otherwise it will become an ornament in my study and I'll buy a wooden prop.
Thanks for the advice as I have typed my fingers raw looking for a website that could give me that info.

Call Pieter and visit him in Randburg with your prop. That guy is passionate about props and is a wealth of information. You won't regret it.
That is why they call him Piet prop.

Try and get the suggested length and pitch from Pieter. I have 2 oldish Geoge Killey props that will need refurbishing. One is a 68x36 and the other is about 69x something. Both lefthanders. I suspect the pitch may be too fine but give it a try....nothing ventured, nothing gained.
