Antifreeze

Postby cjkrit » Sun May 17, 2009 10:27 pm

I want to flush and clean my Rotax 582 bluetop and replace coolant. Will it be OK for me to use Engen multipurpose antifreeze? or are there a specific product that MUST be used?

I prefer the Caltex Antifreeze/antiboil but.....

That should be fine, start with a 50% antifreeze and 50% distilled water mix. You should need about 2 liters of each.

Watch your water temps, If the water temp becomes too cool, then the antifreeze isn't concerntrated enough and vise versa
