Trike wing testing tool

Postby bobhallo » Tue May 12, 2009 3:24 pm

Hi fellow pilots,

Does someone know what is the maximum pressure of the wing test tool that is used when an AP tests a trikes wing, when pressed on a scale to it's maximum mark ?

Kind Regards Bobhallo

Also never thought of measuring the pressure and it's also not just the amount of pressure but the size and shape of the point in relation to the pressure. I suppose you are thinking of building your own or why are you asking?.

Sad, but I was warned it will only open the can.
A big thanks to Kloot and Stephan for your help.

What happened bobhallo ? Your sail failed the test ?

Replacing a sail should not be the end of the world. Depending on your wing you should be able to find a second hand sail, or have one made up. PM me if you require more info. vhpy

Yeah usually not the end of the world to replace it but normally the end of your budget.
