What worked best for me was anything between 0.4 and 0.5 mm, otherwise you battle your arse of to get it started when the engine is hot.

Rotax manual says gap should be 0.5.

My AP recommends 0.45 says engine starts easier.

Hi

Don't the preset the gap setting?
I buy them and install them as they come.
If you do not flood the carp with second pull, it starts with no prob.
