Weight of a 100 hp Rotax ???

Read on ROTAX "installation manual" (of may 01/2007) 912 ULS 100 hp version 2
- Gear box
- Expansion tank for coolant
- Integrated alternator.
- Rectifior regulator
- external oil tank
- External start relay
With these standard equipments It is written : 58,3 kg (dry)
It's the weight that was given in the 2006 documentations (56,6 kg ).
56,6 plus 1,7 kg = 58,3 kg.
These 1,7 kg are probably the Overload clutch. This would mean at time it is a standard equipment.
We must add these Auxiliary equipments which are told "optional", but they are sometimes not so "optional" :
- External generator assy : 3,0 kg
- Coolant radiator : 1 kg
- Air box : 1,3 kg I add it because if it is not the 100% power if not reached.
- Two Air filters : 0,3 kg
- Exhaust system : 4 kg
- Oil radiator : 0,55 kg
We must add the fluids (estimated weights) :
- engine oil : 3,5 liters = 2,992 kg (density 0,855). About 3 kg
- coolant : 1,410 litres = 1,487 kg (density 1,055). About 1,5 kg
Total = 72,95 kg (Let's say 73 kg)
Without external generator : about 70 kg.
Coud someone check with a scales ?
