Thanks Reuben (^^)

At this stage I set my mic setting at the minimum so that I don’t get the engines noise the whole time. (**)

I am thinking of getting the external mic and modifying it to go into my buzzcom and use this setup for longer trips to get some radio chatter into the movie (!!)

(**) Then the best would be to take it back and let them sort it out.

Thanks for the invite (^^) I will keep it in mind I have panned a nice scenic trip for one day but we are very busy over the next 2 weeks so maybe after that.

My trip is as follows
Fly from here (Ntokozo) to
Crater via the swamps then to
Kroon for leg stretch then to
Aviators Paradise for a touch and go then
Aeroden for coffee and refuel then
Rooikoppieddam then
Vaalkopdam then
Follow the Crocodile River up to Koedoeskop and
Finally head back home
All and all it’s about 133nm
And naturally I will be playing around with my Drift HD170 puff

Hi TribalC

Looks like you tested your HD170 well.
Do you use the 760dp or the 1080p setting?

Cheers

Hi CW

I have only used the 1080p setting but see that your fish eye angle is a bit bigger if you use the 720p setting.
Will still play around and see if there is a big difference between the 2 vhpy

Anyone mounted a cam on a Raptor wing yet? The washout tube is inside the wing, so not as easy as the Aquilla.

Thanks for the fast response.
I tried doing that but when trying to add the file it comes up with MOV not supported (after renaming)
What could I be doing wrong?
