Hi Rudi

CGH was based at Howick for a number of years, built by Boet Naude and fitted with a 912 UL with the EXTRA piston kit fitted. Performance was excellent as could be expected!!

Boet has recently sold the Raven and his Jab powered Shadow , the aircraft are now based in Richmond KZN.

We have two Ravens based at my field and another taildragger version on its way. We look forward to having it here and it will also be fitted with a Jabiru.

Cheers

James

Hi James, hope you are well !

Thanks for the info on CGH, looks like the Ravens fly well with any engine !

Sounds like Eva's field is becoming a real "Raven Haven" vhpy How is yours coming along ? I can't wait to hear how it flies with the Jabiru.

Someday I hope to visit with mine

Regards,
Rudi

If you are looking for a solid, but affordable aircraft, this is the way to go. Give Carl Babst a call/email, and you will receive a qoute on a fully built airframe that is cheaper than you will pay for most unassembled kits. Has to be the cheapest new aircraft in SA, and not only that - it is spacious, a decent flyer, and has a very robust undercarriage (suitable for rough strips).

Hi Justin re your query on Avcom. Why not give Johann Froneman a ring at Saldana?
