Phislett, dont go waste money at this stage on a radio course. You are still young and from your description about yourself I would imagine still a few years away from even beginning to start training for a pilots's licence. The radio course as Peter says above really doesnt answer many of your questions and I agree is mostly "procedurally" based in nature.

Dont forget that Zuzac offered you a flip a few pages back! :) The best place for you to learn "how radios's work in a microlight" is from the back seat of an airbourne one! (^^)
