One thing I have learnt is, the battery's we use are basically motor bike batts....I ruined a few few by trying to charge them with std car battery charger...they are just to harsh for the job....I know have one of those computer controlled maintainace chargers especially made for the job....mine is an Optimate

Have you decided which side you fitting it Gary, mine is on the same side as the carbs with the ignition e boxes relocated on the fan tower.

Hi Nick,
Yeah, I have decided to put mine on the exhaust manifold side, I have fitted it already, all I have to do now is install the electrics. Oh and fit the Belt
Well I am going to try and get all that installed this afternoon.
