Jabiru make reversed cooling ducts for pusher installations.
That engine is very easy to keep cool in an open installation.

Re: ROTAX REPLACEMENT WANTED
Not at all, I have a Jabiru 2200 in a Shadow, pusher installation, and if anything it runs almost to cold, even on the ground. I use little ducts facing forward made from aluminum, smaller than the provided ducts from Jabiru.windswept wrote:I have not heard anything yet, but I imagine that cooling will be a major concern in a pusher configuration Jabiru install.
The Jab's are stunning engines, the 85hp 2200A weighs the same as a 582 and burns less fuel, the 120hp 3300A is lighter than the 912 or 914 with more power, all at a far lower price!
The Americans have discovered the jabs and are installing them in all kinds of planes.
Fly safe,
Rudi
