Gunther, Jy is reg. Ek het my al so half moertoe gesukkel met n PAAR van die goed. Bennie sukkel met net 1. Ek sit net 912 of 582 Rattex`e in. My bak is vol geskep met VW moeilikhede. Stel REGTIG nie meer belang nie.

No names, no pack-drills. A certain supplier of belt reduction VW engines promised how he would go head-to-head with Rotax in supplying equally powerfull and reliable aircraft engines. I personally warned said expert that he must be VERY carefull, for if he screws up, people are going to get hurt. He has screwed up so many times, I now do not trust the VW engines he supplies, as far as I can THROW them.

Give me a supplier of RELIABLE Volksie engines :D , and I will use them again. :D Someone not constantly telling me half-truths and blatant lies.....and when I phone with a problem, tells me I can "TRY" this or that. NOT on.

 At last I have all spares needed and the new 582 motor to install in my BB. The only trick now is to find or make a way for the radiator and the exhaust to fit into the installation coz the steerable nose wheel keeps been in the way. Installation cost so far sits between 76 and 80k. Big thank you to Boet and Monty for their assistance so far, makes life a lot easier.

Bennie,

The radiator can be suspended underneath the cockpit behind the firewall. I have one for you, complete with mounting plates. I took it off BIF when I bought my engine. It is complete ready to install , just needs pipes and water. I'll donate it to the Bennie Vorster Bush Baby Benevolent fund, just pay for the shipping.

Here's a sample of what I am talking about

The power of Microlighters and the spirit of generosity of the people on it is humbling. Good one Greg
