Is she the one reading the December issue of Vogue with JB on the cover.... Any practical demos done?

Get out that broken camera of yours and post so that we may judge.... (^^)

I once ferried an aircraft for 200 miles with the WHOLE elecctronic panel US. Rigged a loose WT guage so I could not fry the engine. Compass, slip ball and water temp. One of my most enjoyable flights. vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy

Half the fun in flying is planning a nav then getting it spot on down to the last minute. Why do we allow a little electronic security blanket (that will probably make us over confident then drop us in the shoite) to do our thinking for us and take away that fun and sense of achievement?

If you do not trust the electronic panel enough to fit it alone, it is not reliable enough to put in your plane. Go steam. I have NEVER put electronic back-up in for a steam panel. WHY must electronic be backed up with steam? BUT then on the other hand, I use the GX2 manufactured in Randburg by Amptronic. A no-nonsence user friendly electronic panel that is perfectly readable, even to my 50-something eyes. The product back-up given by Phillipe and Serge at Amptronic is world class. These guys could certainly do with a lot more local support. vhpy

Vfr aircraft and a trike falls in that category fly on wings and not on instuments. The instruments are a luxury and not essential. monitoring the engine can be done minimalistic. Become an aviator not a star gazer
