Fuel Flow Meters

Postby Last Rebel » Thu Dec 18, 2008 3:42 pm

Hi Guys

I would like to fit a fuel flow meter to my Windlass microlight and am keen to hear your recommendations/success stories in this regard. The two favourites seem to be the ones from MGL and Amptronic, tho' the OptiFuel module seems to be garnering some support [see below for the full list].

Any input will be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Last Rebel,

I would like to say welcome, but see that this is your first post in almost 3.5 years, you are not new to microlighters.

I use the smart single FF-1 from MGL and is very happy with it. It is the smaller version of the FF-3, but looks the same, exept for size.

Pros: You can play a bit your self on calibration and setup to get it perfect. Easy to read. All the detail I need on one screen.

Cons: I have tried, but mine still cannot make me a cup of coffee!!
