I am about to purchase carb rubbers for the HKS, (HKS and 912 the same assembly) the originals vibrated to death at low hours and wondered if anybody has tried these units from the States. Testimonials are good, obviously generic but sometimes they are better than originals ??

Any experience is welcome ?? They will end up mounting a throttle body.

Re: Bing Carb Rubbers
These rubbers arrived yesterday, although a few hundred hours on a HKS will be able to tell the truth. Integrity, materials and shape look as the original. Rubber seems slightly harder, they also advise NOT to use a distance limiting clamp and screw it as tight as possible. Price was not the motivating fact in the purchase, longevity..eish that HKS idles really rough..
I intend doing the first 10hrs at Ladysmith as plenty space to descend to Mother Earth..Take a look at the link on the first thread.
