Hi there:

I bought my Aquilla recently with a Hobbs meter which the previous owner did not install. I fitted the meter on the side of the T pod, but I am not sure how to connect it. According to advice, the + of the Hobbs must be connected to the live of the ignition while the - must be conneted to one of the mag switches. I connected it that way, but it does not work. Any advice?

Is it a proper Hobbs meter or a digital MGL type unit?

Hi Morph:

It's a proper Hobbs meter. However, I have been sorted out. Yesterday afternoon, while waiting for the wind to calm down, a fellow flyer helped me in connecting the wires of the Hobbs meter to the right contacts of the Magg switch. It's working now! Thanks for the interest
