Importing Engines

Postby Blitz » Sun Sep 14, 2008 1:11 pm

After NOY a C-182 destroyed her engine I have had to explore importing a an O-470 Continental from the USA.
It seems to me that one can source a New engine for less than a rebuild in SA.
Anyone with any advice here. What are the duties payable?

That's strange. He usually gets back to me the same day with expected lag for time zone if I email him in the morning from SA.
