This is not a Rotax approved conversion. BUT they have been arround for some time now and the agent here said that unofficially they have not had problems with the mod if done by a quilified person. Mine has nearly 300hr's on and is still going strong. My engine does't use oil so I can not comment on the consumption. Temp wise she runs slightly higher but not serious, I repitched the prop to lower rpm a bit an voila fuel consuption came down to 12liters /hr and cruise at 90mph if I cruise at 100mph fuel goes up to 15 liters /hr.

They will also tell you in the manuals that the origional stuff may fail and cause bodily injury or death
Bottom line is Rotax will probably not consider a warranty claim on any faults related to non origional parts.
